Little Creatures is the latest venture from one of the UK's leading figures in quality house music, Luke Solomon. Luke has been involved in the UK house scene since 1992, as a hugely successful DJ/producer, label owner and promoter. His label Classic, co-owned with Chicago house legend Derrick Carter, held a long standing residency at The End until 2006, however it has now made way for Luke to launch his new night in AKA.
Little Creatures is an opportunity for Luke to get behind the decks, dig deep in to his record box and really stretch his legs. Luke starts off the night with disco, causing a stir as the evening progresses, citing music influences for the night’s soundtrack from Chaka Khan to Talking Heads, Prins Thomas to Derrick Carter and Radioslave to Derrick Carter.
Luke regularly invites guests such as Rekid, Rob Mello, Kenny Hawkes, Dixon, Spektrum (live) to join him behind the decks. Little Creatures is an opportunity to hear one of the UK’s top house DJs spinning music he loves with scant regard for the genre police, joined by esteemed friends, Luke puts the AKA’s fantastic sound system through its paces.
