CODEX
The twisted brainchild of Nico De Ceglia, CODEX is described as 'a collision of dirty, sexy, deep electronic sounds.' Driven by a desire to create a friendly vibe with cutting edge music, Codex is now in its fourth year, having grown to become one of the hottest midweek parties in London. Nico's knowledge of who's who and what's hot is thanks to his established status as DJ, journalist, and A&R, as well as a music researcher for the Essential Selection on BBC Radio 1. Not surprising then that Codex has seen an ever changing blend of musical influences, creating a vibe that never stands still. Always pushing the boundaries, Codex constantly features fresh, upcoming talent alongside more established artists, focusing on a mixture of guest DJ's and live acts. Names like Padded Cell, Product.01, Franz & Shape, Ralf, Tom Stephan, Rob Mello, Lopazz, Dub Pistols, Pasta Boys, Rui Da Silva and Audiofly are just some of those who have appeared at Codex. Pushing the line further in 2007, expect to see even more surprises yet!
