TUESDAYS
Don't let the day of the week fool you - this party is hot. The Players has taken on Tuesdays (an unenviable task!) and kick-started a night with a cult following. Four years since launching and it's a ridiculously popular and established event, managing to maintain its underground status and build a friendly, cosmopolitan crowd through word of mouth promotion and line-ups that reflect what’s going on in the scene today.
Never a night that takes itself too seriously, The Players welcomes DJs from all over the globe alongside much loved London town DJs - alongside whoever else promoter Charlie Hope hears and likes on a night out.
The Players crowd are music lovers but without pretensions: they've always worried less about the name of the person behind the decks and more about whether the records played are rocking the party.
In AKA hear house, techno and electro. Downstairs in The End's lounge, the tempo shifts slightly, with DJs playing hip hop, broken beat, deep and jazzy house, and electric funk.
AKA's residents on rotation are Jonny Rock (who describes The Players as 'truly addictive'!) Jim Wood and Raymondo Rodriguez - and to give you a taster, recent guests include Audiofly, Geddes, Hector, Stephan Grieder, Robin (Trulz and Robin) Ryan Shaw, The Electric Press, Luke VB and Kos. In the lounge DissCuss, Karl Gonzales and new residents Blackbeard (hurrah!) play music to shake your tush to.

MEMBERSHIP
Membership is open to anyone who works in the hospitality industry. Bartenders, waiters, hoteliers, DJs, chefs, tequila girls, croupiers - the night owls amongst us! Just £5 will get you life long membership! If you’re a member not only do you receive a fancy card you’re also entitled to free entry, £2–2.50 drinks all night (selected spirits + mixers/wines/beers/shots) and access to our members only VIP bar.
